Coded fields and buildings

Some crews pick a property, job, project or customer on each card charge in the card platform. Matched can use that to find the job.

Pick the field

In setup, at What does your crew code on each charge?, pick the field your crew fills in. If your crew codes nothing, pick Nothing, we don't code charges. Matched then goes by who was clocked in where.

Link each option to Jobber

Matched then shows each option from that field next to Jobber.

• A property, building or customer field links to a Jobber client.
• A job or project field links to a Jobber job.

Matched fills in the ones it can find by number or name. A close name is marked “Close name, check it”.

For each option left:

1. Pick the Jobber client or job, or
2. Pick the no job choice, such as Not a property (no job) or No job (a company cost), for options like “Office”, or
3. Leave it on Decide later if you're not sure. Matched asks about those charges as they come in.

Select Save and continue when you're done.

Change a link before you finish

Until setup is finished, you can reopen this step with Edit. Matched never changes a link you chose.
