Whose card is whose
Link each crew card to a Jobber person, and tell Matched which cards are the owner's or the office's.
Matched suggests the job from where the cardholder was clocked in. For that it needs to know whose card is whose.
Three choices for each card
- A Jobber person. A crew card. Matched suggests the job from where that person was clocked in.
- Owner or office, sometimes for jobs. For an owner or office card that now and then buys for a job. Matched doesn't guess from clock-ins, and every charge waits in Charges for you.
- Office only, never for jobs. For a card that only buys office things, like an office admin's. Its charges are filed as No job on their own, so they don't clutter your list.
Link cards
- Open Settings and find Whose card is whose. (During setup it is a setup step.)
- For each card, pick one of the three.
- Select Save cards.
Office only cards
Charges already waiting on an office only card are filed as soon as you save, and new ones every time Matched reads charges. Each shows under Recently matched with an Office card tag and an Undo button, so you can put one back in the list. No job is never sent to Jobber.
Matched leaves an office only charge for you when something says it might be for a job:
- it's coded to a building,
- it's at a hardware store, home improvement store, lumber yard, or a plumbing, electrical, paint or other trade supplier,
- you've put that merchant on a job before,
- it's flagged for review, or it's a line from an uploaded statement.
Each card shows how many charges it has, so you can start with the busiest.
Why a card might be missing
Matched lists the cards that have charges in the last 60 days. A new card shows up after its first charge is read.
If the list of Jobber people is empty, Matched couldn't read them just then. Reload the page in a minute.
