The morning charges email

The weekday email that tells owners when card charges are waiting for a job, and how to turn it off or back on.

On weekday mornings, around 8 AM Mountain time, Matched can email each owner when card charges are waiting for a job.

What it says

  • How many charges need a job, and how many are High matches ready to send to Jobber.
  • The date of the oldest waiting charge.
  • Up to five of the charges: the date, the merchant, the amount and the cardholder.
  • An Open Charges button that takes you straight to the list.

When it comes

  • Monday to Friday only, once a day at most.
  • Only when at least one charge is waiting for a job, or near the end of the month when some of its charges aren't in Jobber yet (see below).
  • Only when something new came in since your last one. If the same charges are still waiting a week later, you get one reminder.
  • Owners get it. Members don't.
  • A company still trying Matched with sample charges doesn't get it.

Before job costing

From the 28th of a month to the 3rd of the next, the email also says how many of the closing month's card charges aren't in Jobber yet, so job costing doesn't miss them. For example: "Job costing for September runs in the first days of October. 12 of September's card charges aren't in Jobber yet."

In those days it comes every weekday morning while any are left, even when the only thing left is charges matched but not sent. It still comes once a day at most, and turning it off still turns it off. It shows only when sending to Jobber is on.

Turn it off

Either way works:

  • Select Turn it off at the bottom of any of these emails, then select Turn off these emails.
  • Open Settings, find Morning email, and select the switch.

Turning it off only changes your own email. Other owners keep theirs.

Turn it back on

Open Settings, find Morning email, and select the switch again.
